Buying Supervisor, Biddable Paid Media

Overview

Haberman is looking for a results-driven professional with a passion for biddable media; focus on programmatic media and oversight of social & search. This person has expertise in translating media plans into strong buys, and is a master of the technical details required to manage and optimize millions of dollars of media investments to generate results for clients. This individual goes above and beyond and strives to be at the forefront of a rapidly changing marketplace, always learning what is possible today and leaning into what’s next. The right person for this role must be a strong communicator, collaborative, a quick problem-solver, and take real pride in generating great results for brands.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Haberman media planners to develop results oriented strategies for biddable platforms,with a focus on the programmatic marketplace
  • Flawlessly activate investments built out across biddable environments, with a primary focus on programmatic
  • Manage, optimize, and report on multiple biddable investments at once, with expertise across video, audio, digital out-of-home, native, retailer, and emerging programmatic opportunities
  • Optimize & refine Haberman’s differentiated approach to audience & data strategy application across all biddable platforms
  • Comprehensive understanding of programmatic buying methods and best utilization strategy, including but not limited to open auction, PMP, and PG
  • Become the Haberman expert on video inventory available programmatically, understanding strategically the best options for different marketing objectives and tradeoffs in cost and measurement across YouTube, CTV, OLV, OOH, etc
  • Master and continuously learn, apply, and coach the full capabilities available through The Trade Desk, especially regarding audiences, measurement, format, and platform inventory options
  • Set the right budgets, delivery, and conversion goals across advertisers and marketing objectives spanning CPG, financial services, and healthcare
  • Collaborate with team to build measurement & optimization plan based on sales outcomes and media metric leading indicators of success
  • Meet or exceed KPIs that are set with planners and clients in the collaborative planning process
  • Quickly address and escalate when necessary media performance barriers, when needed to ensure a strong return on the client’s investment
  • Manage and coach team to deliver best-in-class results, an accelerator of next-generation solutions, and the go-to agency for betas
  • Lead relationships with buying platform partners such as The Trade Desk, Google, and potentially Meta, ensuring Haberman and its clients benefit from the best pricing, training, and support

Experience

  • BA/BS
  • Minimum 5 years in industry, 3+ years with programmatic focus
  • Experience across full loop inclusive of planning, implementation, optimization, reporting, and insights
  • At least one year’s current experience in The Trade Desk managing across all channels including video and display with bonus points for native, audio, and DOOH
  • Data strategy experience testing across 1st and 3rd party data
  • Experience with a myriad of measurement solutions for sales and brand uplift in CPG
  • Always asking for the extra set of eyes/passion for a top-notch QA process
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Can manage and prioritize multiple campaigns for different types of clients at the same time
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills in person and virtually
  • Proactive in catching issues and creating solutions before they escalate
  • A self-directed professional who understands client needs and operates with a sense of urgency, focus, and discipline
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented professional
  • A collaborative individual who can work in a team and independently
  • Bonus for Google Analytics and SEM experience
  • Bonus points for Google Analytics or other platform certifications
